About me

I was born and raised in the suburbs of Paris, France.
I am an enthusiastic person with strong analytical and problem solving skills, and a particular interest in programming.
In my spare time, I like to cook and bake for my friends, especially chocolate cake, which I have a secret recipe for.
I was also part of the rowing society last year, and participated in university races such as the Cambridge Winter Head. I no longer practice on the water, but still train on the rowing machines.

Interests

  • Baking
  • Since I was young, but I got really into it when I was about 15 years old. I've tried everything from apple crumble to chocolate macarons!
  • Cooking
  • Since I was allowed to touch the stove! My mum is an amazing cook especially in Vietnamese cuisine (both my parents are from Vietnam). So I have both French and Vietnamese influences in the dishes I make, which I find amazing.
  • Piano
  • I have actively practiced the piano from the age of 8 until 18. I played various styles, from classic to more modern pieces, depending on how I felt. But I mainly loved Chopin!
  • Travelling
  • I have the chance to have family spreaded all over the world, so I have visited amazing countries from Australia to Vietnam but also the US as well as other European countries such as: Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Crete, ...
I love trying out new food and spices, you can probably tell food is a big part of my life!
